Overview
In this course, we introduce you to the basic principles of the atmosphere and how this can affect flight.
Outcome
Starting with the big picture you will have a general understanding of the earths atmospheric layers. Breaking this further down into the composition of the atmosphere and the basic qualities that air possesses.

Element 1
- State the composition and structure of the Atmosphere
- Describe the presence and importance of the following in the atmosphere: a) Carbon dioxide b) Ozone c) Water vapour
- Explain how temperature influences the ability of air to hold water vapour
Materials
- Pens or pencils
- Some paper to jot notes down and/or copy pictures to assist with learning
- Printer (not essential) but will be required if you would like to complete course worksheets
